The P7 children got the opportunity on Tuesdat as part of our celebrations for St Brigid's Day to visit her shrine in Faughart. The children learned about her life, the many stories about her, the miracles she performed and why she is celebrated as one of Ireland's Patron Saints each year.
The children were able to collect some holy water so they could bless the crosses that they made in school.
