Today was a day like Mr McAteer said, was for living in the moment and leaving the phones and devices behind as we shared this special day together, saying our goodbyes to the wonderful P7 class of 2023. Today like everyday since they started P1 was a day to celebrate them and their acheivements and their time spent in St Michael's Primary School, Killean. We as a school could not be prouder of the children that walked through the gates of Killean one last time today as our P7's and we know that they have so much success and new adventures to look forward to.
Thank to everybody who made the last day for the P7 children, a day they will never forget. A special mention to all the staff and children of St Michael's who were part of their school journey. Thank you to Mrs Clarke who made the wonderful photo board for the P7 children. It was absolutely fantastic and a big hit with everyone. Thank you to Steph's Homemade Bakes and Foods and Mrs Pickett for creating the two Leaver's Day cakes and cupcakes, they were delicious!
Thank you to all the parents for being there one last time to celebrate this wonderful P7 class of boys and girls and throughout their years always been so supportive of the staff and our school.
Finally thank you to all the wonderful P7 children. We are proud of each and every one of you and everything you have achieved in your time in St Michael's and in your time with us. We wish you every success in your futures and the doors of our school will always be open to you all for a visit.
We will miss you all!!
