As part of Engineering week the P6/7 children were investigating Newton’s third Law of Motion by creating their own hovercrafts using household materials.
The children had lots of fun and were able to identify that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This was seen when a balloon is released causing an upward reaction from the released air escaping, causing our cds to hover.
