St Colmans College Bicentennial Cup Winners 🏆
Yesterday ten of our boys were invited to the first ever St Colman's College Bicentennial School Blitz. Killean PS were amongst 32 schools invited to this event.
The ten boys from the start of match one, right up to the final were absolutely amazing and several times came back from losing positions to gain victories and then to win the cup! This is an incredible achievement, something that will go down in our school's history. Everyone of them played their part and were amazing. They gave it their all and done not only their school and the staff proud but also themselves. It would have been so hard to pick a player of the tournament from the boys, but a special mention to Daniel who received this accolade. An amazing achievement Daniel!
The boys faced some very tough opponents every match and each school played brilliantly, especially our local cluster school, Cloughoge, who the boys defeated in a nail-biting final.
A massive thank you to St Colman's College for inviting us and for all the parents who showed up to cheer the boys on. It meant so much to have you all there, witnessing this moment of Killean history. It was a great day for all involved and the boys loved every minute of it.
Well done again boys!! We are so proud of you all.
