Today we had our Sports Day for the first time in McKeever Park, everyone had lots of fun taking part in the many races including Egg and Spoon Race, Sack Race and the Sprint. The children also had fun competing in the obstacle course, the Poc Fada, the Penalty Shootout and our own class Gaelic games.
All the children who took part were amazing and we are so proud of you all. Thank you to all the parents who joined us today and cheered the children on. We were glad the weather was dry and the sun stayed out.
Special mention to Rory Burns (Bubba) who helped with Sports Day today and set up the very fun obstacle course for the KS1 children. Lastly thank you to Mrs Watters and her team of helpers who served tea and refreshements to everybody down in Mc Keever Park today.
