Today, we held our Sports Day in McKeever Park, everyone had lots of fun taking part in the many races including Egg and Spoon Race, Sack Race and the Sprint. The children also had fun competing in the obstacle course, the Poc Fada, the Penalty Shootout and our own class Gaelic games.
All the children who took part were amazing and we are so proud of you all. Thank you to all the parents who joined us today and cheered the children on. We were glad the weather was dry and the rain stayed away for most of the day.
We would like to thank Mulkerns Spar for providing the school with a wonderful Sports Day pack full of equipment, we used for today. We would also like to thank Damien from Core Kids who created and helped with the wonderful obstacle course along with other games. The children had so much fun.
