P6 visit Newry Library
5th Feb 2020
Primary 6 visited Newry Library. They found out about how fiction and non fiction books are organised in a library and they got a chance to have a look at some books. Some of the children are already members and so they got to choose some books to take home. Thank you to Corwyn for showing us around and to Chris the resident historian who told the children about the History of the border in Ireland. The children were given an application form to become a member of the library, all they have to do is fill it in and bring it back to the library and they will get their library card which can be used to borrow books at any library/mobile library throughout Northern Ireland
