On Friday children were given an information sheet which included: how to download Lexia on your computer or iPad; login details and passwords for Lexia, Mathletics and how to access their documents and Newsdesk using their c2k login.
Twinkl website is offering free access to parents for one month. Here you will find lots of useful resources for all areas of the curriculum.
www.topmarks.co.uk has lots of free games suitable for ks1.
Hit the button is a great resource for quick fire mental maths including times tables.
- Practice 2,3,4,5 &10 times tables multiplying and dividing
- Play board games which help develop numeracy skills
- Do jigsaws which help develop motor skills
- Complete Mathletics tasks which will be updated every Monday
- Continue to use Lexia 20mins daily
- Work on the next pages in Maths/English homework books
- Read 20 mins daily
- Any powerpoints, creative writing etc can be saved in documents and printed at a later date.
- We were due to start our new World Around Us topic ‘Houses and Homes’. There is lots of activities/worksheets available on Twinkl.
- Children could use junk materials to design a house
