Congratulations to our fantastic Eco team who were invited to the Newry, Mourne and Down Eco Schools awards ceremony in Downpatrick last week. At the ceremony Eco schools N.I official spoke of our school’s fantastic Eco work. We renewed our green flag status for 2023 and we will hold this flag until 2025. An extraordinary amount of work goes into achieving green flag status and we couldn’t be prouder of all the hard work our pupils did to achieve this. We in St Michael’s believe all our pupils need to care for their environment and the Eco team strive everyday to ensure our pupils are well educated and kept up to date with all current climate actions. 🌍💚♻️
As a thank you we also received a years supply of reusable glue sticks from Nexus, the first ever reusable glue sticks to be invented. 🌍♻️😃
