Today our boys played their Cumann na mBunscol league semi-final.
As the sun shone in the sky, the boys did their school proud, displaying determination and skill.
The boys team consisting of our P7 and P6 boys, came up against a very strong opponent – Granemore PS. Unfortunately, the Granemore team were just too strong for our boys and this is where their league campaign came to an end. This boys’ team should be so proud of themselves not just today but for everything they achieved this year so far. Boys we could not be prouder of you all. The boys were the perfect example of teamwork, hard work and positivity, as they worked together throughout the league campaign.
Thank you to all the parents who came out to support the children throughout the year, we really appreciate all the support from the sidelines.
As a school we work hard to promote Cumann na mBunscol and that each child can practice their skills and to have fun most importantly - that is what Gaelic football is all about.
