Primary 3/4 have been learning lots about birds as part of their WAU topic. They took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. They found lots of different species of birds in our school grounds. They also painted some beautiful birdhouses that were kindly gifted to our school. We can’t wait to get these put up in the yard to attract birds to visit our school.
On Friday, they worked in groups to collect twigs, moss, leaves and grass to make bird nests. They had so much fun learning outside in the beautiful sunshine!
